The most common question today is that online games are more popular in every state in the USA? Numbers of people who play each of these games in any state can really be difficult to find.

The internet game creators themselves have this data, but they, of course, hold their information close to their chest for obvious reasons. I’ve been able to locate the most popular online games in each of the 50 states and here’s how they stack up against each other.

When looking at the top ten most popular online game titles according to game users, there is a definite disparity. The states with the highest per capita rates are: New York (ranked first), California (fifth), Texas (seventh), Maryland (eighth), Connecticut (ninth), Massachusetts (tenth), and Rhode Island (eleventh). Those that don’t make the top ten lists, either because they are not available in that state or because game developers don’t keep accurate stats on game usage are not included. That leaves us with the ten most popular games according to game users in each of the fifty states.

Of the most popular online games in each of the fifty states, two stand out above the rest. The most popular game according to game users in Rhode Island is FarmVille, a FarmVille-like game with over 2 million downloads. The next most popular game, according to Rhode Island’s game creator Zynga, is Mafia Wars. The second most popular game according to game users in New York is Mafia Wars, a Mafia Wars clone that is similar to its competition, but with a twist. Zynga does not have a Mafia Wars clone, so it is no surprise that Mafia Wars is their second most popular game title.

Of the most popular online game titles in every other state, a few are close enough to being on the top of the list that it is hard to tell which game is the most popular in any given state. For instance, Call of Duty: Black Ops II (PS3) is a close third in game play in every state, but not in New Hampshire. and Massachusetts, where it ranks first. (and in both of those states, by a little bit).

The games with the highest per capita rates by game play our Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Mafia Wars, so there are likely two reasons why the games listed above rank so high on the list of most popular online game titles. But what about the game titles that rank the lowest?

The least popular online game titles are: Age of Conan (PS2) in Rhode Island, Pokemon Black and White (GBC), Super Mario Galaxy, and World of Warcraft. These titles are not available on any of the game portals for these two states, so we can’t really make a direct comparison between them. We can’t even get a rough idea of their popularity by state population, unless we add up the number of people who download them to make the games’ total downloads.

By the time we get to other states, we realize that while the best known online game titles are well represented, the numbers of downloads are probably not as high as the game creators would like us to think. We can compare the most popular games according to the amount of people who download them on our own state.

Let’s start with the most popular games by state population. The game with the largest percentage of people who download it is Mafia Wars, followed by Age of Conan, Super Mario Galaxy and Age of Conan: Hyboria (both from Zynga).

So, while the number of downloads is a factor in the popularity of a game, there are still too many games that rank too low to be called the most popular online game titles. If we look at the most downloaded games, however, we see that the most downloaded game in every state except one, and Wyoming, are Age of Conan: Hyboria. It may be because of the time zone difference between all the states, or because of the fact that it was the only game that ranked lower on each state’s downloads list than on other states’ lists.

It is a very interesting game. It was created by Zynga and allows players to create their own faction that has existed for hundreds of years. Players take on the role of a Conan (a barbarian king who rules a barbarian nation) and his loyal followers. With the help of several monsters, players have to attack enemies and defeat their leader, who is always being aided by an evil wizard. I really like this game, because it involves a lot of strategy in terms of player placement and leveling up.
